Gathering Loose Ends by pfeifferpack alým 03/16/2008 03:14 am Man,why did you do that now! Unconscious Spuffy is none of the good. Exciting read, liked it. Can't make it too easy for the boy after all. He's a master vamp not superman LOL. Besides Buffy has a way of distracting him. k SpaceLord 12/31/2005 12:36 pm Hmm love the story so far but to be honest this chapter does not feel in line with what Spike said and did in the previous chapters. Why would 3 stupid minions be able to overpower him? Why is he not using any of his special weapons and why is he not going for a quick kill when faced with opponents? I mean it has been established earlier that alot rides on this, the fight of a lifetime and yet he's just fuckin around. Don't particularly like the hollywood crap about fighting and stuff. Just feels really stupid, like the idiots in horror flicks going to check something out even tho they know killers are around. Just makes my skin crawl about how stupid this makes Spike really look. It's like he suddenly forgot why he's there and thought it was just another bar brawl in Sunnyhell. I mean he went against four opponents in his training and now all of a sudden he forgets how to fight? Just not very logical or just doesn't feel right. Fight scenes are difficult for me. This was the first story to realy use them with any frequency. I imagined Spike a bit distracted having Buffy in his company for the first time since the Hellmouth. He also broke his first "law" in feeling too confident as well. Those two factors made him vulnerable. Spike is never stupid, but his focus on Buffy can cause him to loose focus. He'll get it back. | |||
