Angel's not gonna have to act too hard i assume.But i also believe that no matter how much he thinks he hates Spike,he likes him more than he'd give credit himself to.It was the same in the show,too.

They had a brother like love/hate thing that felt really real. I think Angel was a bit jealous of Spike in ways too...like his control of the demon from the start and his bravery. Spike respected and was a bit jealous of Angel too. k

Actually, yes! You are the only one to pick up on where I had the germ of an idea for that conference! Love CS Lewis and Screwtape Letters is my favorite of his! So glad you are enjoying the story.
