Good update, look forward to more to see how this unravels.
Thanks Tasha. I am waiting to see how it ends too! ;-) (I only type what my muse pours in my ear.)

For some reason, when I think of Homer, I think of James Whitmore (sp?) when I think of Homer. I like to think of an almost cuddly, and stubborn old man, not the cartoon, but then again, I never really liked the Simpsons all that much. Give me Shawshank Redemption (My fav movie with James Whitmore in it) any day of the week! Very good chapter. Things are really starting to come together now. It is just fitting that Angel, in his race to be the "hero", would make such a monumental screw up and release the virus. I know that he would not have done it willingly, but he never really did think to hard when it came to making the right decisions for EVERYONE, not just himself. IMO. Can't wait for the next update!
The writers on the shows seemed to be under the delusion that Spike was the "dumber" of the two vamps. I think we know better, though. I'm glad you're enjoying this story so much. ;-)

Wow! A lot of interesting things going on in this chapter. I liked Spike's talk with Homer. It's great Spike is starting to put the pieces of the puzzle together. Your doing a great job of showing how unworthy a champion Angel ever was. Great chapter!
Thanks Rose! Things are coming together so watch for the connections. (You've been doing that all along though, haven't you?)

Yeah leave it to Angel to bollocks up things. Hmm this Homer, I can only picture one Homer and he is yellow, loves donuts and says D'oh! alot :)
Why does *Everyone* think of the cartoon first? :-) Doesn't anyone read books anymore? (I know, I sound like "Giles," but come on guys!)
