I feel so bad for both of them. I think that this is a very good story, and very original.

You know, it occured to me reading this chapter, that for all Spike's wondering about how Buffy could have changed so much, he's changed just as much. Of course the reasons are obvious.
I'm curious to see what happenes not that Buffy has failed to punish him.

I'm glad you noticed that! It's funny how people notice the changed in other people but are often unaware when it's them that have changed!

another great chapter. I'm really enjoying this fic! I'm surprised spike didn't get turned on with the riding crop, the kinky bastard *snerk*
yeah, the emotions of that particular scene weren't really running that way...of course plenty more story to come ;) lol
