OH Dru didn't count on that, or she just believed in her own way it would wash the claim out too.
Dru intended to keep him away from Buffy. She planned to get him away to Europe and wait until Buffy was gone.

Thanks again!

excellant chapter - the whole mate parts were excellant and spike's amnesia was very well done. I loved it!
Thank you! I have to admit that that is another of my own personal favourite moments from the series. Glad you liked it too.

i cannot adequately express how much i love the last sentence. really enjoying the read. thanks
Thanks! Without the memories of the intervening period Spike just really wouldn't give a damn about anyone who wasn't "us"...

I love this chapter--Spike "knowing" Buffy as his mate even after having his memory tampered with, sweeping her up off her feet and carrying her up the stairs in front of everbody, including Dru--love it, love it! Must continue to read!
Thank you! That was one of my favourite chapters, too. Thankfully, some bonds are stronger than anything a Tabula Rasa spell can do.

Hope you continue to enjoy the story as it develops.

Ah, good thing claims are stronger than anything out there. Dru's going to burst with fury now. It's about time for someone to break that crystal. The Sunnydale crew should recognize the type from Willow's spell.
Yep, some bonds just aren't made to be broken (thankfully)!

I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for commenting. (Reply somewhat belated due to being on holiday.) I guess by now you know how that all came out.

Is this where Tabula Rasa comes up against a vampire claim? Which magic wins? More story please.
Thanks! Well, I guess by now that you know how that went. Hope you approved.

I'm sure always will be posting more soon. She definitely seems to have been busy while I've been on my hols (hence the belated replies).
