Great story ! I really like both the monologue and dialogues in this work. The serpent is propably the "best new character" I have seen in a while, reptile or not.

I keep meaning to read The Plumed Serpent which is a "biography" of the god Quetzalcoatl. hasn't happened yet (stupid school getting in the way), but I'm sure it'll happen eventually. I'm glad you like my little plumed serpent. Thanks for the review!

Spike may put himself down about the blood but it's a great food source for a carnivore. But where's he going to find another Coatl to get his wild refuge accreditation by the local conservation society?

I think I have fallen in love with Meret. Spike is fortunate to have a creature to love him so well. I hope Xander doesn't find her too soon. More story please.
