Thanks! It's always good to know when people like my take on the characterizations, because I know that we all view the characters a little differently, and I tend to stress.

Good chapter blending canon issues with Spike's adventures. Great scene with Giles and Spike.
It was fun starting in a roughly canon setting and tweaking the story to twist it further and further away from the original plot as the fic progressed. I'm glad you like it, because things like that will continue coming up in future chapters. Thanks for the review!

Lucky for Buffy that Spike got that money. I never could quite stomach Buffy working in the Doublemeat Palace while her friends lived and hung out at her house for free. Willow's parents were rich and Tara had money for school and board. Rant over.
