A wonderful memorial and send off for Drusilla - that you have all of them gathered to support Spike and Angel is a lovely conclusion to her life with Angel and Spike and now to Spike and Buffy.

This brought tears to my eyes... it was so powerful. The people we become is what those we love make us, (in this case literally as well as figuratively). You know Buffy has truly come a long way when she can celebrate Dru and help Spike grieve the way she does.

What a beautifl thing for Buffy to say and she was so right about it to. If it hadn't been for Dru she would never of had Spike. Lovely that all of Spike's friends, old and new were supporting him. Beautiful chapter.

I always felt that Dru was more of a victim than anything else... and even Buffy can have her moments for putting the grudges aside. Even if her enemy has to be a pile of dust first.

awww...that was kinda sweet ... i never could find it in me to totally hate dru...she was too broken...lovely chapter...on to more :)
My view exactly. Dru did nearly as much harm to herself as she did to other people, and she always at least as much a victim as a monster.

I loved the memorial, I even teared up and started to sniff. especially this line - "In a broken man, she saw a knight." That was wonderfully written and beutifully done.

That was a lovely goodby for Dru. I hope all those poor kids are OK.
I think Dru suffered a lot in her time as a vampire. She deserved a memorable goodbye.
I think David Nabbit could put them up for one night. I wouldn't be surprised, knowing him, if he had some charity program he could use to get them all homes/work.

Thank you! I figured that Dru was only ever really what Angelus made her. She deserved a proper send off.
