Angelus, just the right B*#%!*D that he is. Liam is such a pig! What a way to start a story!! Good job.
Yeah, Liam wasn't much before being vamped, (except presumably in bed - although that may have only been in his own mind) so what can you expect?

poor Buffy - intrugiung first chapter - i thought it was really interesting and makes me want to read more of it. Good start!
Thanks! I appreciate your reading and reviewing! I hope it contiues to intrigue. I'm told some later developments were unexpected, but to me they seem pretty logical once you figure out what each character's motivation is. I hope you agree that it all hangs together well. Sometimes it was a bit of a struggle.

Whew!! This really is season 2 with a terminally thick Slayer and a nasty Angelus. I like the AU where he doesn't kill her, just torments her. More story please.
How do we know what happened off screen? It's not exactly like this story line could work on broadcast TV.

Loved the part where Buffy was scared and not Supergirl for a change. Great chapter and hair raising.
I tried to make Buffy very human and vulnerable; remember what she is going through at this point. Plus she is still very young and trusting, and Angelus is at least 200 years her senior. Glad you liked the suspense.

Ewww Angel *shudders* When does Spike come in?? *bounces*
I like Angelus better than Angel - really can't stand that lunk. But keep the faith. Spike will appear soon - but remember, he is still in a wheelchair, and pissed at Buffy for putting him there.

Evil evil Angelus. Quite believable with both characters. I look forward to reading this one.

I hope you continue to find it believable - sometimes it was a little stretch. That's why it took me so long from conception to print - it needed to be believable and not err too far in either direction. A tender Angelus is unconvincing, but Buffy and evil Angelus seems just as far fetched.
