I'm happy to see Angelus, Drusilla and Darla out of the picture. However, why is Spike going to LA? Looking forward to more.
You'll find out why he's going to L.A. in the next chapter - it's nothing permanent, that's for sure.

ye i totally missed the part where tessa killed herself. |I read it a couple times too. Poor Spike I hope he doesn't stay gone too long
It's at the end of chapter 17 - I kept it brief, more for the element of surprise. He won't be gone long, I promise.

very good chapter though, even if it was short....hope he's not trying to leave for good, b/c of stupid giles and xander....glad buffy said the things she said to him and hope he got it :) loving this story
