I just wanted to say that I'm really enjoying this chapter. I don't really mind buffy with angel as long as it's evil angel. yeah...sick, i know ;)
Wow! I hadn't checked my account in a while and didn't realize I was still getting reviews for this. And you left me a freaking lot of them, squee!!! I LOVE your stuff, so it means so much to me that you left me all these reviews. You've made my day (week?) And yeah, I agree about the Angel/Angelus thing.

OMG!!!Buffy's a real slut puppy isn't she? and she thinks that...what? Angelus is going to be a good boy and play nice? No! Angelus never had any humanity in him...EVER!!! Please don't try and make him something that he never was! Nice, considerate or understanding!!! Still a good story though. Thanks for the challenge.
I am trying for a little ambiguity, for Buffy's sake, I think she needs to see him that way. Doesn't mean that is's true. But there is some conflict w/i Angelus. I just don't buy that there is no crossover between Angel/Angelus while Spike remains nearly the same w or w/o soul.

Very intriguing start! I like the manipulation of Buffy going on here and how the vamped old lady was so nice, even with her making passes - lol - great story so far!
Thanks, I wanted to call into question the early canon assumption that vampire = beast. This is only the beginning of Angelus' scheming nature - you have to admit, his plans usually work out better than Spike's because he is more deliberate and less impetuous.

Thanks. I think many are having trouble getting thru the Bangel. But the challenge did ask for A/s/B, and I couldn't really see how to do that - esp in season 2, without the A/B first.

when is it going to get past the icky bangel? *gags*
We'll see Spike for the first time in the chapter after next, but it doesn't turn Spuffy yet - or easily. Remember he is still wheelchair bound.

Oh dear. If the Wankers' Council wasn't so full of shit, it might be possible for somebody to have a clue here. Angel is not in Angelus; Angelus is in Angel and Liam now. More story please.
At this point, Buffy is pretty young and gullible. She believes everything Giles tells her, and a lot of what Angelus says too. Of course the only one who only tells her the truth is Spike.
