I really like how you laid out the terms of a mating claim. And your explanation that a vamp drinking blood is actually taking lifeforce makes sense. Explains a lot of things.

I really like anya's role in this ... I don't feel sorry for Buffy she is kinda scary at the moment but can;t wait to see what happens next

finally answers!*runs around the room doing a celebration dance*. wow the Buffy and Anya team thing is great! they are kind of good for each other. no Spike in this chapter but hope to see plenty of him in the next one.

love the update, love the tale. disagree with anya, but then i never understood buffy's overwhelming need for the xander, red and giles' seal of approval. thanks for the fine read.

Very good chapter! I really like this story, and I am glad that Anya wants her to be truthful about everything to Giles and her friends. She (Anya) is right, it will come back and bite her in the ass if she lies, but you know Buffy, its easier to deny things than to admit them and have some moral support from her frinds!
buffy lived in constant denial, so...no surprise here...lol...thanx for the review :)

So, Buffy's slayer demon knew what to do and the significance of what was happening the night before. How long can she stay away from Spike now? More story please.

So now Buffy knows that it sounds like a mating claim. She didn't really get the effect of her rejection of Spike's claim ... what it would do to him. Look forward to the next update. Really want to see this one turn around.
thanx for another great review :) yeah, anya really didn't say much about that, so she doesn't get it yet...but then where would all the angst come from if she wised up this soon?? :P lol

I'm really enjoying this story, but you know what? I'm also kind of sad that Spike's claim got rejected. Yet again he's sort of second best... I guess I just like him as an equal partner. *shrugs*
yeah, it's sad for him...but it will get better in time :)
