Getting better all the time, but still not the Angelus we all hate. Still not used to a docile Angelus. Will he show his ugly head soon? Good chapter.

I don't think its intended as punishment for Spike. Although at this point we don't know exactly what Angelus is thinking (but we will eventually find out).

Good grief! I'm happy that Buffy may get to know Spike now but hopefully he will educate her. She's seriously retarded if she thinks that being punished by Angelus in house full of vampires might be a fun sex fest. More story please.
As far as that goes, I don't think she was thinking that anyone else would be invited. But yes, things could get seriously worse for Buffy that being forced to be with Spike. Something she will eventually figure out.

You have pointed out something often missed....Buffy was a teenaged girl, vapid and silly as we all are at that age and Angel (or Angelus) was a "mature" man....the attraction made no sense from his standpoint, except for her innocence. Angelus AND Liam loved to despoil innocents....looks like Angel had a similar desire. No wonder that was his moment of perfect happiness!
Oh my......Spike as punishment.....please let me be naughty!!! Of course right now Spike may be more interested in wacking her around and maybe having a bit of Slayer blood than sex, but a girl COULD get lucky.

Thanks for the long and wonderful review. I agree, I think a lot of Buffy's appeal for Angel/Angelus is the idea of dispoiling innocence, as well as dominating her strength.
And yes, Spike is probably not disposed to be kind to Buffy now - she is the one who put him in the wheelchair- but on the other hand...well, we'll see.

I'm with you there - but Buffy doesn't see it that way. Angelus isn't as smart as he thinks he is, but there is a method to his madness, which we'll find out about chapter 11.
