I love your comments - yes that always seems one of Spike's greatest motivators - the need to prove himself, especially in comparison with Angel/Angelus.

Now we're getting a little closer to the Angelus we all love to hate,and Yes, we all know that he's watching! Good read.
Don't really know who began the watching thing... whether it is part of canon or just a fic thing. Seems to fit though.

Oh Spuffy sex! I can't wait - I love how you are writing the characters in this fiction. Agelus, Buffy and Spike - so far I can see them doing everything you have written. Buffy at this point of her life, is young and mallable - she wants so badly to believe things will work out, happy *sigh* Great update!

Great! I'm afraid Buffy is a bit stupid to get herself so thoroughly compromised.
Yeah, this is definitely a case where love is blind, deaf and dumb. She sees what she wants to see (don't we all).

Oh yeah. Logical, experienced Spike and gullible, young Buffy.....this should prove interesting. Maybe Buffy will begin to see some differences in the soulless vampires she will have to compare. Still loving this story, I've never seen this twist before and you are telling it well.
