I am so looking forward to reading this piece - I have been wanting to read an outstanding story from Buffy's early period in Sunnydale. 

Hm - is Buffy just human now, or does she still have slayer powers?  It's great to go back to the beginning when Buffy was so cute and perky and mini skirted.  :)

Oh I haven't seen this fic before. I love these "not the slayer" anymore fics...I have an idea that starts close to this time in my ideas folder with a similar premise (so later you don't go: "HEY!" lol. I promise I'm not stealing lol.)

I think I'm really going to like this fic. Fantastic prologue...and it might be short, but it's really good and that's the most important part. Short and fantastic is better than long and crappy (not saying you would write long and crappy)...ok shutting up now! :)

Huh, this is a veeerrrry interesting premise. Dead simple and utterly obvious ... in retrospect. I wonder how many people are kicking themselves for having overlooked it.

I do wonder though, are you sure Buffy was blonde by the end of Season 1? I can just imagine her thinking "I took the check though cause I'm not blonde."
