I think that was one of the best chapters yet. I was really worried that her little alter ego was going to come out at the last minute. I am glad that she was able to open up a bit more for him and admit that she did have feelings for him, even if she wasn't sure when or where they came from. Great chapter!

Beautiful chapter.  Touching and sad.  Buffy needs to snap out of it, and put them on an even playing field.  It's pretty obvious that he couldn't do anything against her, no matter what.  Looking forward to the next update.

I am so not ready for Buffy to be open with her feelings but I am just glad that she was. Hopeing that they can work through this and what an awesome move to make herself submit to Spike in any little way.

Finally got home and had a chance to catch up with all my favorite stories. Worth the wait.

Nice softer moment between them after all the violence.
And what sort of a message was he sending her, what was he telling her about the abusive behavior that was becoming more and more frequent, if he could give himself to her like this so easily, when less than an hour before she had been viciously beating him in an alley, bruising and breaking the flesh she was so tenderly caressing now?...interesting flash to the alley scene in canon Dead Things....what DID that say (other than he was so hopelessly in love that he accepted whatever she offered and that he had low self esteem issues??).

Dawn seems to pacify Buffy, could it be something about Dawn's existence if at the root of the primal Slayer outing?? Just keep writing, this is really compelling (as are all of your stories).

JL that was wonderfully sweet and sexy. Feeling a little sorry for Buffy at this moment. She's getting mentally whipped around as much as Spike. Should a vampire call on God? Seems a little oxymoronic somehow.

This made me tear up ya know, Spike being so timid , Buffy being unsure. It was nice to see her try to replace some of the hurt she dished out with some caring. I still don't forgive her, and I hope Spike doesn't either, at least not for a while. Your on my list of nummy faves forever for this update!
