Poor Buffy, still dealing with the tragic effects of her dealings with Angelus. Yay! Spike for "rescuing" her, and not eating the guys, because she "wouldn't like it."
He's a sweetie. *sigh* I want one just like him...

That's our boy, had to come to the rescue. If he does leave, it will hurt them both, their relationship is as solid as cement. Just wondering where you're going with this. I'll find out eventually. Wonderful chapter, thanks.

This chapter had so much sweet and tender to it that it brought tears to my eyes. I love how Spike comforted her and helped her understand her reaction to the boys touching her. I also like how she admitted that she would like him to stay and the talk about why he couldn’t.
So glad you are still enjoying it.

The reactions of Buffy were spot on. Having been raped the tendency IS to freeze (one of the reasons a former victim is MORE likely to be raped again rather than less). You captured it perfectly!!!!! You also touched nicely on her confusion over the reaction and bit of shame at her inability to properly respond.
