At last, confession time! Hope Giles really tries to help instead of dismissing everything that's happened and finding a way to blame Spike for it. And I sincerely hope that Joyce gives Giles pure hell! It's about time someone opened his eyes to a few things. Can't think of anyone better than Joyce to show him the error of his ways. Good to see Buffy consciously taking forceful steps to stave off her behavior finally. I really do not want to see Spike hurt more but suppose it's necessary for the plot.

yes, of course, giles -- buffy beating spike to death would be just *fine* with you! it's not like she'd maybe feel bad about it later, right?

just like it's just fine for dawn and joyce to watch buffy berating spike, beating him, biting him, and drinking his blood. nope, wouldn't traumatize dawn or joyce one bit -- and if it did, wouldn't matter to giles anyway, right?

after all, it's not like *giles* would ever interfere with buffy abusing spike, so it's not like *giles* is in any danger from getting in buffy's way.

I am glad that Buffy is seeking help, but it appears that Giles is too stupid to figure it out. I hope the solution will be readily apparent. Good chapter.

Well, I'm glad to see that she's starting to acknowledge the degree to which she needs help. And that she's no longer buying the distinction of "No one - human".

Interesting chapter. Even if Buffy is thinking Spike deserving of a bit more concern than Giles wants to give him, she still somehow forgot to point out to Giles that Spike saved Joyce from her wrath at great cost to himself. So she's still protecting her ego at Spike's expense here. And that's BUFFY, not the mysterious evil force in her.

wow yay for smarter buffy. Dawn is all witht the calmness. Poor buffy poor spike. And Joyce is still seeing mostly spike is the abused one in a relationship (which he TOTALLY is) and not really understanding the claim part of it. I love this story. I truly never really know what to expect or what i will see next.
