I love Joyce and how clearly she sees Spike I only wish that Buffy had her mother’s gift. Buffy has everything she has ever wanted but she has learned how to bottle up her own emotions so well that she doesn’t recognize what she has. You are doing a fantastic job exploring this aspect of Buffy.

excellent read. joyce is, well, joyce. buffy is an idiot. and i am sure i have read this tale. but it is still a joy to read. (or reread.)
