Great start. I love the idea of exploring their messed up relationship and all the emotional trauma and trust issues that went into it. If anyone can manage to do this justice it is you.

Very good start to this one. I'm really going to hope that it isn't a beat up on Spike fic. I'm crossing my fingers here and waiting for more.

Nice start. You certainly grabbed my attention. But I get the feeling that just blindly trusting the Slayer at this point in her depression will not work out too well for Spike. How much is she gonna hurt him this time?

Great beginning - so painfully true to the relationship as they hurt each other with words (ok, more Buffy than Spike, but that's typical, isn't it?) when they could so easily be soothing feelings instead of injuring them.
I'll be waiting eagerly to see where you go with it.
