Poor Spike, when are they going to figure out that the demon part of Buffy is who they're dealing with? Another good chapter.

With Spike´s luck, for sure Giles is going to come in and blame Spike for Buffys unconsciousness... Poor him. I realy hope this turns more positive for them both. Can´t wait to read the next chapter. Great as usual.

All I can say is wow! Now if only Giles would come in to witness this scary little scene.Where is a watcher when you really need him? Sleeping on the job? He really does need a wake-up call. Of course, if he were to come in at this point, I'm sure he would assume that Spike had attacked Buffy and was to blame for everything that's happened. Waiting with bated breath for the next update.

You're possesssed Buffy is so evil. I hope they have and Evil Buffy month on good_evil (although I doubt they would) just to see this story on it.

Effectively, Buffy is dealing with multiple personality disorder. The Slayer essence is enough a part of her that it has all the memories, etc., but since it was created from a standard demon at the time, it isn't exactly nice and wholesome. But everything is Buffy.

Yeah, I know he doesn't know until S7, but it's still crappy Watchership. He should have found out when Buffy was asking about where her power comes from, etc., after facing Dracula. Hell, if anyone had asked Anya, she probably could have told them. Dracula knew her power was rooted in darkness, long before he came to Sunnydale. The demon world is well aware of the Slayer history, in the right circles. I'm sure Spike knows more about Slayers, too - they were his passion. His specialty. Anyway, Giles just never tried hard enough.

Meanwhile, I'm sure the Council's answer is going to be taking out Buffy and her mate, when they figure out why Giles is asking about the origin of the Slayer. They're not going to give him that info without wanting to know why he needs it all of a sudden. There's no reason for Quentin to save Buffy. The line goes through Faith, so they can get rid of both Slayers, since they are such 'disgraceful examples', and start with a fresh potential. This whole fiasco gives them the perfect excuse to start the Slayer line over.

Still not sold on this whole "posession" thing. Sorry JL, I think this is just Buffy getting off on the power she has over Spike now. She's still a...well-the word rhymes with "witch."
