Buffy finally realized that Spike would rather die then give up on her, it’s too bad that it took so much for her to understand this. I loved every point that Spike brought up about Buffy and her lack of faith in herself, and I particularly liked it when Spike reminded her that Dawn is about the same age she was when her involvement with Angel started. I am really looking forward to finding out how Buffy reacts.

Ugh!  Stupid Buffy.  Get off of your self-pitying ass and let him go!  Ooh, she ticks me off.  You write her so well, it's like I can see her and it makes me want to choke the daylights out of her.  I hope she hurries up and gets over there, though.

Finally, you have broken me down. I was trying so hard to not cry at all in this fic, but damnit, i jsut couldnt do it. Whaaaaa! Great chapter and emotion, but so sad:(
