I like that Giles has realized that things are not quite as black and white as the council has taught.

I think Spike's going to have to do something drastic.

It does suck being the slayer. Maybe Buffy will corrupt the new slayer, that sounds fun. What is Giles going to do? maybe teach at SunnyU? Really enjoying this story.

So, Spike is working on self control. I see why that may take him a while. A lovely heart to heart between him and Joyce, btw. And Giles and Buffy and their understanding. Also lovely. Great chapter. Looking forward to more so that we can look forward to his next visit. Loved it.

Yep, that's life.

I think it's respectful to give Spike the time to wean himself away from the old way of thinking. He's very honest in knowing what it would do to his psyche to upheave everything he's been for so long all at once. It's amazing that he weathered the sudden change of being chipped as well as he did, originally.
