Love the title!

What an emotional chapter. I do like the truths that the couples were sharing with each other. It was nice that Buffy had to tell Spike why she really did what she did, but even with that knowledge it is completely understandable why he still can’t allow himself to trust her.

just finished and loved this chapter and loved the truth "spell" and how it brought the real truth of buffy's feelings. Definitely doesn't follow canon all the way and that is neat. You're the best!

I *knew* it! I KNEW IT!:( Stupid ass Buffy's screw up bit her in the ass again, and Spike got hurt, and they wont be able to fix it quickly cuz Buffy is still ignoring Dawn! And the worst thing is that I'm going away on vacation and won't be able to get your updates for nearly TWO WEEKS!! ::sob:: All the best til then, and you can bet the one of the first things I'm doing when I'm back is catching up.

I am glad that Buffy spoke her true feelings to Spike. I hope she hasn't lost him. There has to be a way for him to really give her a chance again. Great chapter.

Yeah, Buffy needs to stop reacting to Dawn as an older sister, and start being a caretaker. With Joyce gone, they CAN'T stay in the old roles. Not until Dawn is out on her own as an adult.
And it comes out in a bratty way, but Dawn's feelings are real, so I'm glad Spike is going to be aware of how she's missed him, and been hurt by his absence.

Poor Anya...but at least this isn't their wedding day...and the others can finally realize that they treat her like Xander does, too.

There's hope for Willow and Tara, if Willow will stay mindful of the truths they've expressed.

And I'm glad the slate isn't wiped clean between Spike and Buffy. She still has to put in the time on changing her actions. It's not enough to know the truth. The truth doesn't erase the hurt. It might seem cowardly of Spike, but it really isn't, for Buffy still has to prove herself. It's still to early to risk taking her in again. And he needs to remember how to be his own man.

That is so sad. Finally a good cathartic conversation and it's 'Spike' who runs away. Interesting role reversal. What is she going to have to do to win him back? I thought the Xander/Anya conversation was very moving. Poor girl. He's still a poophead, but better that things come out this way then be left at the alter. And Buffy really doesn't treat her sister very well. Poor Dawn. Do we have more truths coming to be revealed? Excellent update, can't wait for more.

OH dear. That was a very moving chapter. I loved the parralells between Willow/Tara and Buffy/Spike. Very nicely done.

aw i want them to get back together. Spike knows how she truly feels thanks to the wish hallie granted for dawn. it's got to workout surely
