This is where Angel always had a problem. Guilt for his soulless actions isn't enough. Just having guilt does nothing to 'make up for it'. The guilt is supposed to be the incentive to change his ways. But he never learned that. You do something wrong and you feel guilty for it, great. Now learn the damn lesson and don't do it again! That is what the guilt is for, but he keeps making the same decisions. He kills human's even with the soul so he isn't learning anything from the guilt. He thinks that if he doesn't enjoy his life then he is making up for his actions but not changing his ways. He can enjoy his life but he also needs to stop doing the things that cause him guilt. Letting Darla and Dru munch on the lawyers, killing the sailor, drinking from the gun shot victim. All of those things were lessons to be learned but he failed the test.

You did a remarkable job on Jenny's dialogue. And if it's Jenny that has to have a complete moment of happiness, then that mean's Spike and Giles are going to have share more than a quike hand shake? Yes? Hopefully, Buffy gets to walk in on it and it will be hilarious.Well lets see how you handle this little predicament. Just love it, thanks.
