Another goodie as usual! You write the best Quentin Travers I've read sort of like Anthony Hopkins which is so chilling. My only bone to pick is with Joyce's opinion "...against someone so much older than them, and therefore not capable of defending himself against them. " I am older than both the characters/actors of Joyce/Giles and can/have defended myself against younger men so I take a bit of umbrage there. That is your opinion as a young person.
i am sorry, didn't mean to offend...but i *do* think that as a general rule, *most* men of giles' age probably wouldn't do very well against two large, strong, young armed men...of course that is a generalization...but i was mainly trying to get across the unfairness of the match...how despicable it was for the men to have beaten an older gentleman like they did....did not mean to offend, love ... sorry *hugs*

YES!!!!! I can hardly sit still, what a fight!!!Now...let Spike tear Travers apart, the wanker deserves it! Excellent chapter,you have kept me captivated through the whole fight (through the whole story also) I really hope Buffy return to her body,that the idea was sucessful:D

yikes!! I'm reallyhoping here that the Slayer said the right thing for the ritual to be completed the right way this time.
Now we're back to dealing with the Council. Whew - what a rollercoaster you've got us on - but I'm loving it! :)

yeah, it's kind of a mislead...it's the final conflict with the slayer, but there's gonna be more to do :)

That had to be majorly weird to have invaded the body but knew the person inside wasn't his mate. Of course Travers has no emotional nor professional bond to Giles. He's a cold hearted B%#*!#D. Buffy definately is not out of danger nor is Spike, but then they'll be able to take out these wankers in a heartbeat. So glad that this slayer will never be able to hurt Spike again. Great chappie, fine read. Thanks.
yeah, travers is pretty bad...but the slayer is taken care of...now they just need to get back to the motel and get buffy back in her body...the council are wankers, but they probably would have come prepared to deal with a vampire, knowing spike was there...they need both of them to win this :)
