Very interesting start. I love Dawn and her casualness and how well you captured Buffy's inability to articulate at times.

The slayer basicly alone, without a watcher, more alone perhaps than when she was first called. Is this Spike sane or not? Probably not if he didn't bring Dawn home himself, or so remoseful that he can't bring himself to face Buffy. Got me already. Thanks for the new fic. Good job.
