Super suspense! Cavalry Buffy can save the day and hopefully Giles will get what for, seeing as the whole debacle was his fault!

Yikes!! Is Buffy on time? What will she do to the Wankers? Can I help torture them? I'd be willing to kill Travers any time anybody needs my help. I have been loving this story.

Poor Spike! I really hope that the chip is no longer working. I really want to see him beat the crap out of Travers and his goon. Although once Buffy arrives, the sight of Buffy and Spike together as a team might well be enough to scare Travers to death. We can only hope. :)

Yes! Yes! Yes! *giggles* Buffy's there and throughly kick some watcher ass! Can't wait to see this final battle. I'm looking forward to Buffy and Spike being able to concentrate on their new relationship. Fantastic chapter, exciting read, thanks.

A small error.
Travers would never have received a call in the first place. Faith is the current slayer, not Buffy. Only by killing Faith would a new one be called, no?
Also, do we really need to pull out the ol' "Spike isthe Damsel In Distress" card? Seriously?
There better be somereally goodBuffy and Co groveling to spike chapters coming up, after all of this.

i always felt that since the slayer line was divided, as stated in the show, there should have from that point on been two slayers at any given time, rather than one, one following after buffy and one after faith....
and spike's not so much the "damsel in distress" as the willingly self-sacrificing decoy, who chose to put himself in that position so that buffy could be returned to her body....after all, they dont know if the chip's still working or not, yet, do they? :)

Yay:D Although it is hard to be happy when Spike is getting beaten up by a bunch of Watchers, you have managed to give us lots of to look foward to. It's looking really good. I cannot wait for the Spuffy loving that should be coming soon:)

Oh thank God! Now to get that bloody gun away from the twit and remind the Council where the real power is! Excellent. Soon the pain will be past and Spuffy lovin' can commence. Wild ride here, but well worth it.
