I must say that I hope the iniative doesn't get Spike. I know it happened but I like the idea of him changing without the impetus of the chip.
Great story.

Interesting and fun twist having Riley find out who Buffy is this way. I loved all the different things Buffy admitted to Spike and that she told him that she wanted him to leave before something happened and one of them had to kill the other. She really is living in denial and stuck on the illusion of normal. I groaned when I realized that I had run out of chapters, I am really enjoying this story and am looking forward to the next update.

I find it hard to believe thag Spike would just leave. But at least Buffy has no major secrets from Riley and it was funny to see Riley trying to be the big and bad man only to be showed up by Buffy.

Good chapter. I guess Spike will be captured by the initiative. Although I hope not. It would be interesting to see how their relationship would progree without the chip. I really can't stand Riley. I hope you take care of him soon.
