WOW! Ingenius story! Amazing job with the characters and their emotional traumas. There were definitely a couple of times that you had me in tears just with your imagery: Buffy seeing the holograph of Giles and Buffy seeing Angel for the first time. But the most moving part to me was the way you described Angel finally getting his freedom to be imprisoned. WOW! That sentence still gets to me as I write this. Can't wait to read more. :)

I can completely understand Buffy's upset over Spike quitting for her. Faith, what an interesting person to call. Thanks so much for the update, I really enjoyed it.

What else could he do except refused the case but that doesn't mean that they would have let him. Now Buffy can't live with him anymore which really sucks in it's self. How are they supposed to get together now? Poor Norman, that was mean of Buffy to tease him like that. Yup Faith would be the only one left. Wondering how that's going to go. Excellent update. Poor Spike between a rock and a hard place. Stupid Buffy not to reward 30 plus years of devoted love....sigh......then again it's only been a short time for her.

Awesome chapter! I love the line from buffy, that complete dead panned: "yes, we're secret lovers." hahaha.

I feel so bad for Buffy and for Spike. I really wish they'd just run away together and hide out somewhere, get new identities or something. Surely there's somewhere they can hide. Maybe they could travel back in time to the past or something and escape that way. OK shutting up now, i know it's your story and I trust you with it.
