Build-a-bear? I laughed so hard...again...what imagery...Never had a story take me in so many directions before!

Hee! When I was plotting out this chapter, I kept thinking to myself, what is the most insanely unexpected, but still kind of logical, place for a big battle with a necromancer to happen. Thus was born the evil Build-A-Bear store.

Great to see an update - can't wait to see what is going to happen with the birds and Elaine/Giles. Enjoying the story very much.

Build-a-Bear as a place of evil? Never thought of it that way, but the imagery was certainly chilling *grins* Are you an ex-(or possibly current and digruntled)employee? Excellent update and way to leave a cliffhanger. Can't wait for more.

Wow! Excellent chapter. Wonderful imagery - the Build a Bear Shop of evil necromancy - LOL! Great descriptions of the hunt and Spike's reactions. The vault of evil at he end of the line with the birds on the corpses - fantastic! I love this story and look forward to the next chapter. Thanks!
Thank you! This chapter was a lot of fun to write, because I was all over the map (stuffed animals ranging the entire spectrum of motivations...). I'm glad you liked it!

Hope that they are able to fight Giles and retrieve him back at the same time. Sounds like a rough patch ahead.
Really have enjoyed the recent closeness that you are creating for Spike and Buffy. Love that he picks her up in his arms for quick transport and her trusting him. Also love that our coatyl teases curls into Spike's hair, just like Buffy likes. Very sweet.

If those dead guys are resurrected , the good guys are going to be seriously outnumbered.
And I agree with Spike about the Build a bear store. There's something Frankensteinish about it. Especially inserting the little heart.
