wonderful update, thank you. wes found the line that could not be crossed, thanks to marie.
Yeah, I think if Roger had kept his abuse confined to Wes himself, then Wes would just have let him carry on indefinitely, but while he'd put up with it on his own behalf, he won't let Roger go to town on the people he cares about.

go wes!!! i'm glad he stood up for marie when it came to it..and glad she stood up for him too...poor guy, his dad is such a creep...on to more :)
Can't argue with your opinion of Roger, but he won't get things all his own way, and where Wes might not stand up to his father on his own account, he isn't going to let him get away with criticising the people he cares about... and of course Marie will be there to help him out.
