Just read all five chaps in one hit and I am loving this story.

Poor Buffy and Spike, both so confused and so wary at the moment... hopefuly some sleep and then in the light of day things won't seem quite so daunting for them.

I love the stream-of-consciousness Buffy babble; both verbal and mental. I'm looking forward to more of this story.

I really hope that Buffy can move beyond her fear of Spike without his soul and allow some common sense into her thinking, although when you are as tired as she is common sense is usually nowhere to be found. I loved how perfectly it defined her when Angel said he could get her a plane, happy that someone was taking care of something for her, helping her, but unable to let anyone truly do something for her entirely. Thanks so much for the update, I really enjoyed it.

that was an excellent portrayal of buffy's muddled thoughts in this situation...but she *so* needs to get over the soul thing...spike's hurting and confused and insecure and most likely just needs to know that things are gonna be okay...he needs her support right now, not the distance she's giving him...great chapter, love :)
