This story was breathtakingly wonderful. I thought about it every time I couldn't read it and the whole complex story line is aweinspirering.

I really hope you'll go through with the sequel! Hopefully Anya will knock some sense into Xander, Joyce will NOT die and end up with Giles, whose gonna accept Spike and Oz will somehow magically reappear and be back together with Willow again. I liked tara, but I love Oz lol.

Please consider writing another story!

I love it! Best Buffy fiction ever.

Happy future writing
Mai

That story was so incredible it only took me two long nights of staying up til three am to read it!

The plot line was INCREDIBLE!! This is what fanfiction is all about! Well thought out, detailed story lines keeping the reader intrigued!

You should be amazingly proud of yourself - one of the most original stories I have read in years (and I read a lot of fanfiction!) I just cannot say enough how sensationally fantastic this story was to read.

You have an amazing gift, keep up with your writing!

Ok wow this took me three days to get through! Very well written! Not to mention descriptive and the flow was nicely done. I do have to admit though in the beginning I was horrified and actually became rather pissed with Buffy. So I kept at reading it as much as it got bothersome. Then I was floored when after they completed the ritual that we got to see that softer side of Buffy while with Spike I was in tears throughout the ending. I really hope you do a sequel! Question though from watching Season 5 though I'm actually very curious as to how you will end that considering um what if Buffy dies. Mated with Spike would leave him devastated would you play it out differently? Yes there were some loose ends but they were minimal and necessarily didn't leave you hanging...except for I want a sequel :) One question for you and I was wondering if you play it like some other books I have read regarding eternal mating...when you say is eternal would that have made Buffy immortal then? Through some Books I have read ok yes somewhat trashy romance but vampires indead they had this eternal mating ritual as well and this changed their human mate. Is this how you saw Buffy with Spike in an eternal sense? Because if this is the case then that will change my outlook on if you do a sequel. Because I picked up during her accepting his claim she said she felt strange...so this would mean did Buffy change? Love the story could not leave it no matter how hard some of it was hard to read. Please do a sequel!
thanx so much, love, i'm so glad you battled through the hardest parts of it :P thanx so much for your kind review....i didn't intend to make buffy eternal with the claim, actually...though if that works for you, it's not outside the realm of possibility :)

I really enjoyed this long, strange and harrowing trip. You did such a marvelous job with painting a picture of a horrifying scenario and still bringing them out, battered and nearly broken, but victorious.
Looking forward to the next installment, and maybe a little Ganya action.
thanx so much, love, so glad you enjoyed this story...it's been a while since i wrote it, and it's nice to get feedback on it again :) thanx so much for your kind review ;)

This story has been compelling to read and a great portion of that is that you are good with description and even better at phrasing. It's well written. This story has had its tough times for me because of the very heavy angst and Spike is essentially tortured. I've ready some of your other fics since you started Blood Bound and there's a pattern in that you take your characters out and play with them in some pretty tough scenarios. Despite that, they come through it a little battered and bruised but better understood. You did an excellent job writing and I look forward to more fics.
yeah, that does tend to be my MO, to use a CSI/Law and Order term... :P lol...glad you enjoyed this fic, thanx so much for all your kind words, love :)

Okay, so this fic is amazing. Haha. I haven't read anything with this amount of thought in a very long time. I really enjoyed it. Mostly cause...it was real, and the ending was very well thought out. Not happy fluffy, but a real ending that didnt suck for once. haha. So Kudos to you! It was a very good read.
thanx so much, so glad you enjoyed it...it really couldn't end with happy fluff after all they went through...

Beautiful ending!

What a saga! It's been such a tortuous journey -- for all of us But Buffy has more than redeemed herself. I sense plenty of fallout to come from Xander, and a definitely dodgy Willow. A big thank you for all the hard work.
thanx, glad you enjoyed it :)

Sigh...
It's done. I'm so glad to see things mostly worked out. And sad that the ride is done. Glad to hear that I can get back in line to go again!
So well done, characterization so true, good action scenes, loved Dawn (and that's hard to get me to do!), and Buffy finally finding her won footing. I usually skip the sexier scenes, but nice tender moments.
Thank you so much!!
thanx so much, so glad you liked it :)

Oh, wow! THat was amazing! I loved your story, and the epilogue was amazing. It's nice that you did allow afew loose ends. Personally, I love how it stands on its own as is, but would love to see what could happen in the sequel, with the group being fractured as it is, and Spike being such a central part. Not to mention Joyce's most-likely increased involvement. I never could understand why she wasn't more involved with the Slayer-aspect of her daughter. If she had been, Buffy probably wouldn't have denied it as hard as she had. Anyway. . . I loved your story, this and Belonging as well. Kudos on writing two emotionally-charged stories at once. They were fantastic!
thanx so veyr much, so glad you liked it...yeah, this isn't the sort of story you can sew up neatly in the end...

I adored this story. Simply wonderful and you didn't loose my attention once despite being 111 chapters long and despite being a WIP for the majority of the times i read it. I'm impressed. I loved it and i can't wait for the sequel- i'm so glad you've said your planning one.
thanx so much, glad you liked it :)

great fic, thanks for the read!
thanx :)

I'm actually glad you left a few loose ends. Gives me hope that there will be more to follow. It's been a long, bumpy ride for everyone--especially Joyce and Spike. I hope they at least get a little fluffy downtime with the partner of their choice before the next crisis arrives. (No, I'm not against a Giles/Anya pairing, but it could be interesting to see Giles scramble between the two women).
eventually there will be...and i'm looking forward to the interesting joyce/giles/anya element...though *not* in the threesome sense...ewww... :)

Absolutely wonderful. I've been hooked on this fic since chapter one, and I gotta say, it's amazing. So much emotion. I loved it. Would definitely love to see a sequel too. :D

This is one of the best stories I've ever read. In some of the earliest chapters I sat and cried while reading the story, but couldn't stop, because I loved it so much. Can't wait to read the sequel (if you decide to write it).
thanx so much, so glad you liked it :) your kind words are very flattering, much appreciated :)

I love this story! Even though parts did make me cringe, I decided to keep reading because it was just too good a story to stop. I'm glad I kept reading and I like how you ended it. Now I'll have to wait with everyone else for the sequel. =)
i'm glad you did keep reading...thanx for the feedback :)

Oh this has been a wonderful ride. Can't wait for the follow up but will savor the "taste" of this one until you get to it (I know how that goes.....so many sequels so little time *G*).

I love the realistic aftermath but the hope you held out. Love the wicked thought of a manage a weird with Joyce/Giles?Anya, even if it's only a wicked thought (but picture Buffy's face!).

Love Buffy really knowing Willow isn't quite there yet and wiling to make Xander make his own choice. Yea!!! Strong, independent Buffy.

Just wonderful all around, hon, you did so well in the face of a lot of worried feedback (and squigged readers....NOT me, mind you). You always prove worthy of the faith your readers put in your ability to hit it out of the park.

Excellent.

Yup, cuz now it's the big Dawn worry...which hopefully they have some time to prepare for, since it takes a bit for Glory to actually show up in town. They haven't even dealt with the Initiative being in town yet. And it'll have to come up just because Spike did have the chip...and the commandos are still combing the town.
But hey, all you have to do is get rid of Ben!

And sending Willow off to the coven now would be a great relief. She's at the turning point of either going to the dark side of power, or being open to learning better ways.

A triangle of Joyce, Anya, and Giles? Oh, that could get funny...and Giles is usually so oblivious, that both women would have to hit him over the head with their feelings before he would notice! Either way, Anya can definitely do better than Xander.
yeah, the sequel should be very interesting, looking forward to writing it...but some other stuff to write first...glad you enjoyed it, love :)

Great epilogue . And I'm glad to hear that a sequel will be coming even if it takes a while.

Great contrast between the Scooby way of dealing with things and the way Spike put it.

The Scoobies have always gone for complete denial or a quick fix that lets them pretend damage wasn't done. Spike's way is the way to truly heal a rift.
yeah, a few other projects to do first...glad you enjoyed it...it will of course take time, but buffy and spike can mend the hurts between them :)
