Wow, great start, glad I started reading this. Sorry about the other night on the tag board, I fell asleep with the baby. I was more tired than I thought,lol. Off to read more.
I'm glad you like it. =) And while I don't have kids I did use to work with them and those little guys tired me out. I loved those kids but I was happy to send them home so no worries. =)

Well, this is refreshingly original. Not so much moving Spike to another world, although that's rare enough, but his newfound status in it.

Intriguing story, I like the premise you have set up. This has defiantly made my list of stories to keep an eye on, Great Job. PS Have a soft spot for Dragons

Ps: I have a soft spot for dragons too. Draco's look is based on a figurine my husband gave me. He sits next to the real Draco (yes I named a dragon statue Draco). He's a hand carved wooden dragon that my dad got in Indonesian . ;)

Intriguing beginning. Arrogant Angel (Liam) was just as I would expect a shanshued version to be...even expecting Buffy as his grand prize. Spike in character too. Look forward to more.

A little constructive criticism - might I suggest enlisting the help of a beta reader? For example, 'frigid' means really, really cold but 'fridge' is short for refrigerator. Those are the types of mistakes a good beta can spot.

Great start . You hit one of my kinks-Spike is Dawn's father (i figure that his blood was on the blade that was used to cut him and Dawn and that kept the portal from opening all the way and Buffy closed it the rest of the way ).
Loves Spike's thoughts about how he views his status in the world. it just breaks my heart.

It's one of my kinks(Spike as Dawn's Dad) as well. To me Spike never really looked at his self as a hero and probally only mentioned his part in saving the world to piss off Angel. And well who doesn't like to irrritate Angel? ;)
I'll hopefully be able to update steadily but I do plan on taking my time. This one is going to be long and I don't want to rush it. I have the tendancey to get impatient and just want to get to a certian part of a story quickly and usually have to force myself to slow down.
