I thought it was quite brilliant.  So many writers here have such great ideas about how things could have gone.  I think Joss is a bloody moron.

awwww that was so incredibly sweet! Loved it. I wish it had really gone down that way and the alley thing had been a catalyst for something like this. I like also her telling her friends before she knows for sure that he'll take her back, because it's important that she be honest when there isn't necessarily a payoff in it for her.

My kind of story! Great job. I loved Spike being strong enough to leave her, and not settling for more of the same when she tracked him down.

Great job for a first fic, Lenore:D I just loved how you handled Spike's reaction, especially his speech about him dragging Buffy down, it was very well characterized. You also had some very good lines(Anya's scream that impressed Dawn, and Buffy's shopping for souvenirs with Xander are my favs).

The only thing that I could say to help you get better is to stay focused within the paragraphs of your story. The only reason I noticed is because I struggle with the same problem (hehe, though I've never tried post on this site, I'm not able to conquer the other stuff like you:P), starting to drift off into other stuff within something else. Everything you wrote was of quality, just a *tad* unorganized.

All in all, FABULOUS first fic, and I hope that we see more of your writing soon:)

Very sweet and I liked Buffy's plan to pop him in the nose if he didn't come back to her. I still hate Riley's wife. Doesn't everybody?

*sniffles* Aww, this was great!! Glad that Buffy opened her eyes and finally admitted the truth to everyone. Loved it.

awww....that was perfect...loved strong spike, and his reactions to what she said...he gave in in just the right amount of grovelling :) great job, love :)

Now why coudln't Joss think of this? Because he's evil, that's why but I'm glad you aren't.
