Thanks for bringing up the matter of the art gallery. I don't remember anything mentioned in canon about that. One would think there would have been some sort of arrangements made.

I really just hope that Buffy really does open up to him. He has really been taking care of her and Dawn without 'wanting' to take credit... Love the final scene.

hmm, Buffy is a lot nicer when she's tired and not so suspicious. I always wondered what happened to Joyce's business, so it's nice to know it still exists and Spike has been looking after it. I'm curious about what he was doing at the court house, and I wonder when Buffy is going to ask about that. Loved her jealousy at the thought that he was seeing another girl, even if she claimed she doesn't care. Poor Spike, she fell asleep before he could get his smoochies, although I'm sure the fact that she's using him as a living teddy bear makes up for it
Well, it is her subconscious talking! I always found the issue of Joyce's gallery unresolved, so I fixed it. Everything will get explained in time. :-) Thanks for reading and reviewing.

hmmm...seems she does a lot of that "kissing him thank you" stuff :P better than kissing angel "hello", anyway :) lol...excellent chapter, very sweet and real and moving...looking forward to more :)
Yeah, Buffy doesn't really always know how to use her words. She's more of an action type person. Glad you enjoyed the chapter. :-)

A movie type moment, but oh so cute. Love the gallery idea, with him thinking of the practical while Buffy flounders about life. I'm sure she'll freak out in the morning, though.

Lovely chapter! I love that Spike has been helping Joyce, without Buffy's knowledge. The ending was so sweet...for Spike's sake I do hope that come morning Buffy remembers that SHE is the one who insisted he stay.
Well, we know how things usually work out for Spike. Glad you like the idea. I thought it was pretty original and something Spike would do.
