i'm glad buffy's not planning on killing spike...but it seems like angel's more than a willing participant in this, and he and riley both need to die!!! excellent chapter, looking forward to more :)

Excellent update. I think the image of the fami-nazi, unshaved, demon-hugging activist is probably the funniest thing ever. I'd bet she's never been on the wrong end of fangs. Go Spike for at least attempting to save the kid. He'll prove himself able to control the demon, and Buffy can go "nyah nyah" to Giles. Angel, on the other hand...Just to clarify, does he have his soul? Because, I'm getting the feeling that he does, and if so that's great. He's just playing at being the "Hero", like he's always done. If he doesn't, well that would also explain his behavior. Did you leave it purposely ambiguous? I can't wait to see where you go with it. Can't wait for more.
Angel is defintely souled up. I always hated the "he has a soul therefore he is good baloney." Spike didn't have a soul and he did a lot of good (and really bad) things. Angel did a lot of bad things when he had a soul. Ax murders have souls and - so what? I'm thinking Angel doesn't have much willpower and he gets tired of being a good guy some times - like when he's feeding Darla and Drusilla a room full of lawyers. Thanks for reviewing.

good spike, for now. how long will he hold out, and will angel start his head games? i hope buffy doesn't change her mind and starts thinking spike is feeding and needs to be put down.. *sigh* can't wait for more.

Anya and Sunglow--I loved the verbal slap. Looks like Buffy's finally onboard with the Spike-lovin'. I wonder how adding Angel into the mix is going to screw things up.
Buffy's definitely on board, now that she can't have Spike. Angel will be dealt with. Thanks for reviewing.

Of course, he didn't destroy the ring! Far to valuable. Hope Spike can keep from giving in too. It would really hurt Buffy even if she does love him. Yeah Angel's got a big surprised coming to him when he sees Buffy. He'll be able to hear the heart beat. This is getting very interesting. Thanks for the update, really enjoying this.

Could Angel be clunkier? And Giles seems even more constipated than usual. Great fun.
Angel's been sitting around, getting fat on prison food. Giles must always tell Buffy to do something that she isn't going to do under any circumstances. Thanks for reading and reviewing.
