Now, the way you described William, reminds me of a certain bleach blonde vampire that we all know and love. HMMMM! She finds William doing it endearing, yet when Spike does it it's annoying. Scewed perception much there Buff?

this is just such a great love story. He loves her just the way she is but really she is in the wrong time. And to have Buffy put so much effort in patience is just touching. And to have him try to creat opportunities for them to be alone and enjoy each other was just great. Awesome chapter and I hope Buffy really can make up for whatever she didn't do next.

It's good that Buffy is trying to adapt. What a culture shock she's been to a staid Victorian gentleman like William. For now, he seems to have managed to subdue his inappropriate urges!

I like that Buffy is actually willing to change to make things easier on him. And that William tells her he doesn't want her to, but she does anyway--to an extent. Nice foreshadowing, but eeevil cliffie.

I love this chapter! The contrast between them is charming. William is simply adorable and I want to take him home with me. You write him wonderfully! :)

Nice update - I like seeing their relationship growing.

Whew. I was starting to get the shakes from William withdrawal.

Now, did we really think that everything would go smoothly for Buffy? She has a tendency to screw things up when it comes to men :-P I just hope William's not hurt too badly. But if he is, I'd be happy to mend his poor little sensitive heart ;-)

Anyway, the shakes have gone now that I have had my William fix. Perhaps I'll reread to keep from jonesing until the next update :soon:

Welcome back dear lady!!! Now, after the wait you now have me hyperventilating with the 'she botched it'. Argh. Gawd, I love William and it's great to see Buffy as she is in your wonderful story.

Eeep!! Bad cliffy, bad cliffy!! Oh man, that was a fantastic update!! Love, love, love it!! William is still adorable, and I love that he's getting to be more 'bold' with his affections for Elizabeth. And her love for him is amazing and very believable. Just need that bad cliffy resolved soon. Can't wait for the next one!!

Poor William, having to struggle with his sexuality when he has absolutely no good examples. Its interesting to see how these changes would affect Spike. Also, all this side saddle and better behavior stuff puts to mind the image of the Slayer returning to sunnydale, acting all prim and proper around her relaxed friends. She'd be a female Giles, compared to the way she was.

First, I have to say, this chapter was well worth the wait. But then to punish us all so vehemently with foreshadowing and a cliff-hanger--what have we done to deserve this? I will work on my manners like Buffy in the hopes that you will update soon and put an end to my utmost misery and anxiety. Crackers, now I'm talking like William! Until you update, I wait patiently.

Loved the Mama Smack Down. Maybe William's not such a big mama's boy as we thought. Loved the sexual tension when she touches his sleeve.
