OOOh, good start. Familiar, yet differnt, and very intriguing with the differences. Tara didn't die, Willow is not in evidence, Xander nearby and Spike still with the soul and who is/was Katya? Interesting. And where exactly WAS Buffy, and is this just a delayed reaction to Willow's spell, or is something else up?

I don't usually read Buffy after she's been gone for some reason longer then 147 days but I thought I'd give yours a try. I'm really glad that I did. Really like how you're starting this. So much to discover, like who did this and why, Spike's soul and the scoobies. Going to read the next chapter now, thanks.

This looks interesting, there was a mention of Spike getting home to someone please tell me he doesn't have a mate.I know its 30 years I just hate to think of him moving on.
