Beyond This Life by Eowyn315 02/27/2007 05:30 am the slayer never was important to the scoobies as buffy. she was only important as the image they had of her(not tar, anya or dawn.) very good chapter, thank you. I sometimes wonder if they'd ever have been friends if Buffy wasn't the Slayer. Not just from Buffy's perspective (since she probably would've stuck with Cordy and her crowd) - but would Xander's crush have been so intense for so long if she were just a normal hot girl? And would Willow have wanted to be friends with her if the fighting evil thing didn't give Willow's life purpose? 02/26/2007 11:37 pm Will someone just smack Xander please?! *G* This just reads so perfectly in character all round I can see it as what might have happened in canon. Well done...looking forward to more. Kathleen Thanks! I wrote it intending it to mesh with canon - a fill in the blank between seasons. Oh, and... *smacks Xander upside the head* smlcspike 02/26/2007 06:22 pm SO Spike is against the bot, Yep. Can't imagine him actually wanting to be around it, after losing the real Buffy. 02/26/2007 03:06 pm Excellent depiction of what probably would have been Spike's reaction to hearing that suggestion for the first time. Thanks. I'm just all about the pain in this one. :-) ella 02/26/2007 02:13 pm This has been a real positive surprise so far. I've never wanted to read fics about those 147 days, but now I decided to try - and I'm very glad I did! Thanks for giving it a shot! 02/26/2007 12:21 pm If they had planned it, they couldn't find a better way to hurt Spike and destabilize Dawn than the Buffybot. Oh, I know. I really wondered what they were thinking when I saw Bargaining. I mean, yeah, clever making it seem like Buffy's alive, but how much would it hurt the people around her? | |||
