It's not that I'm being unrealistic, of course a sexual being like Spike would have lovers throughout his entire immortal existance. But just because I can accept that he had the relationships doesn't mean I want to know about them.

Now I'm really hooked. Backstory details always fascinate me, and some of the hints that have been dropped have me itching to know more.

Liked Spikes comment about it not being a curse, but why did Buffy just assume 'Anne" was his daughter, cause hey, still a vampire.

Kinda makes me sick to my stomach though, that's why I don't read years later fics. Don't like to know there's been other people after. I hate stories with Spike and Buffy others but I understand, its hard to read and think that he got his soul for another slayer, but as you said in a reply he is not a monk.

Just read through the first four chapters and I'm totally hooked! I do like future fics where Buffy comes back - especially when most of the gang is still around. I like the futures you've chosen for them - they seem to fit their characters in some unexpected ways.

This may sound weird from a Spuffy fan, but I really like that Spike didn't just pine away for her. He absolutely thrives on love and loving people, and I can't see him focusing his devotion solely on someone who's no longer around - even Buffy. I definitely believe that he'd have depths of love for others, without ever really letting go of Buffy, and probably never loving anyone as much as he loved her.

I like the way you bring out the details a little at a time, and even as one thing's being explained, it brings up whole new questions about something else. I'm really looking forward to seeing where you take this, and to finding out the answers to a lot of the questions you've (thus far) left unanswered.

Well this is it for me. You are a great writer but I'm a Spuffy fan till I die and I'm just not interested in reading about Spike having a serious relationship with anyone other than Buffy (regardless of when, how or who). I think I've overdosed on all the tremendous amount of angst in peoples' stories these days. I deal with enough of it in the real world. I read to escape reality, hence my love of sappy Spuffiness. I will look forward to your next fic.

And as mean as it may sound, i'm glad the daughter isn't around anymore. Yeah, that sounds horrible, but in all these 'when Buffy came back' fics, when Spike has a kid it just seems to.. mess everything up. Almost like, he cheated on Buffy by having a kid, you know?
