Beautiful chapter Glynis. Can't wait 'til they tell him that Buffy wants to see him too, how she feels about him, now that Joyce is sure of those feelings. Hope he waits for her when he knows she's coming home and sees how upset she is, that she does have feels for him. Letting him see the possibilty of being happy with all the Summers women. Great work, thanks.

Hi vladt, I suppose I could have them meet, have them shag and have them live happy ever after, but that's just not me. I love to write plot and in this story it's Dawn in danger. Buffy just might have to wait a while before she gets everything her own way. Stick with me honey, it might be a hell of a ride

to a degree I do feel bad for Buffy. But she really has to understand where the man is coming from. They didn't end on good terms and this is really about Dawn. And thank goodness for Joyce sticking to her guns. Maybe they both need this time and can work something out but they have to make this about each other and Dawn not what THEY want for themselves.

Hi honey, communication is a wonderful thing, but they are both stubborn and a bit full of themselves sometimes. Wait and see how this pans out, it may just surprise you

Well Buffy's attitude seems to have changed but let's face it, pre-shag she was a monster!

Oh, so sad......for her to belief she deserved heartbreak...and all he had to see was her reaction to seeing him that things had changed since their last encounter, and some for the good and yet some for the bad. I wonder if what Buffy is feeling is also what led the others Slayers to want death. Could be the love of mom and sis is the what's kept her alve longer than most. I think ole Spike is going to be surprised when he meets Buffy face to face, but by then she might have her defense attitude up so she can try and ignore her broken heart so she can protect her sister. Or could Joyce pull off the deed....More please......
