I was worried when I saw this ch. was about "Dead Things," but the outcome was quite pleasant.
Yeah--cause their relationship was so different, and Buffy didn't hate herself,so all of the violence totally wawn't necessary :)

awww, that was *such* a better version of dead things, so glad things didn't get so ugly between them this time...lovely job
Of course- couldn't have her beating up on our fave guy. However, there's still Riley, and the emotional torment to look forward to :D

I love that she didn't go to the violent place to get what she felt she needed, and that he tried to support her even when he didn't understand why she was beating herself up. It shows that their relationship is in a much better and more stable place that they could contniue talking to each other even with the stress of the situation.
Thanks Deb- yea, she doesn't hate herself so much, and didn't need to take it out on him. That, and Spike didn't insert his foot into his mouth exactly either. But she still has "relationship" issues, so we have *that* to look forward to ;)

Great rewrite, I'm glad that Buffy didn't beat up Spike like she did in 'Dead things'.
Nope- it won't be fluff, but it'll definitely be Spike friendly ;)

Loved the twist on it. As much as I hated that alley scene, it just showed how much he loved her and she hated herself. Loved yours so much more. Thanks.
Thanks- I think the self hatred and loathing that she felt for herself, and her shame for being with him contributed to a lot of it, so it was no need for tons of Spike violence ;)

I like this version a lot better than the actual episode, that's for sure. Let's see what else you can twist to make better...
