aawwwww, that's so very sad, and i really wish it'd actually happened in the show...if only she'd let him be there for her, things might have turned out a lot differently...excellent chapter, love, looking forward to reading the end...i'm sure it'll be wonderful :)

That was so sweet - giving Spike a chance would have made a huge difference at this point in the season.
Well... hopefully the "difference" that I made occur in the last chapter makes a smidgen of sense. Please let me know ;)

As much as she cared about Giles and he cared for her, she rarely got true comfort from him, happy as Spike, that he can give it to her if only for a few moments. Almost finished? Wow, will there be a sequel, because their relationship is just starting, not ending. Wonderful chapter, thanks.
Well, let me know what you think of the ending. If it isn't crap, then yes, I'll do a sequel :D
