oooooo... wonderful update! I love the Angelus/Spike/Dru interaction, I can see Angelus is going to be taking SO much pleasure from Spike's feeding malfunction... I'm hoping to see a big angelus butt kicking by Spike before this is over lol :D

Empty indeed....Spike of blood and hope and Buffy of reason and hope. Not much of him left to play a round of kick the Spike now though.

Like the sympathy from Dru, it makes sense as she does love Spike as much as she is capable. Daddy comes first though, that's been trained into her from before the fangs finally drained her life. Spike tried his trademark defiance in face of fear, very in character.

Possibly the best thing that could happen to Spike would be for Buffy to grab him for some revenge all things considered. This Buffy (unlike some later versions) still has the ability to feel sympathy and fairness. Maggie would continue her games and we all know what Angelus would enjoy doing. Got a feeling that won't happen for a while though *G*.

At least she's not denial Buffy anymore. I do feel bad for Spike--Angelus is a sadistic jerk, and Drusilla certainly won't go against his wishes.

Poor Spike. Someone please beat up Angelus, he needs it.
