Dru coaxin Angelus away was really interesting. I've always been curious about what goes on in her mind. What is vision, what is madness and what is terrible clarity.

So, she takes him with her...not really what I was expecting, but it works.

and so it begins... those two really do have a lot in common and I love how that brings them together. I'm loving Dru in this story... possibly because she's helping to set up Buffy n Spike, I reckon, but still, I love reading her cryptic talk and trying to figure out what she's REALLY saying. Great chappie! Can't WAIT for the next!!

YES! Good girl Buffy to take Spike out of there (and yay to Dru for the distraction).

At this point she is likely wanting to help Spike so he can "admit" to being the cause of Angel losing the soul and get her off the hook. Her conscience must still be nagging her that she IS the one responsible for Angelus and thus all his soulless deeds (including the tormented vampire in her arms). We know she'll stick to the first part longest *G*.

Yes, I always wondered why they didn't find comfort with each other when Angelus and Dru were doing the dance macbre together. Would seem natural. Ah well, Spike's not up to any dancing at this point. Still the common ground has been laid out.

So sad when he asked her to stake him...poor Spike. Glad the physical torture is finished for the most part though.
