I really liked the songs you used in this chapter, even though Willow makes me go Arg!!
Willow seems to have that effect on a lot of people. :)

Wow. Great use of those lyrics - they fit beautifully here. Really enjoying this fresh, original story!
Thanks so much for the sweet review!

Oh goodie. Willow's going to do something stupid. She ought to be figuring out a way to stop the singing.
Maybe she can do both? lol

These are great songs, well done. Now to see just how much magic she's willing to use? Great rewrite.
Thanks! I'm glad you like it!

Eerily accurate season 6 Willow! She really does start out just wanting to "fix things"...
Yes, she does... but the road to hell is paved with good intentions, and all that...

oh man...she still doesn't get it, does she? *sigh* great story, i think these lyrics fit even better than in the last chapter...great job :)
Thank you! It's kind of fun trying to find lyrics that fit (you'd be surprised how many songs I could use without changing any words).

Yep, that's Willow for you. Just can't figure out that she can't fix it all *poof* - some things take actual work and pain to get through.
I love the concept of this story. The idea of a musical episode isn't new, but it's generally just some weird tacked on thing that doesn't make sense for the characters to be singing in. At least with the BTVS episode, there was a reason for the random singing. And I loved it. I'm glad you came up with this idea.
Shouldn't Willow and Tara have noticed that they are still singing, though?
Thanks so much! I'm thrilled that you like the concept - it's kind of a crazy idea, especially since musicals aren't meant to be read, but I'm hoping that it works.

As far as Willow and Tara - I think they were probably too preoccupied with breaking up to really dwell on the singing thing, but the Scoobies are definitely going to have to get to the bottom of it (just as soon as Buffy gets out of Spike's bed, lol).

Willow really doesn't listen does she? The fact that she lost Tara over abusing magic doesn't even register with her before she's off trying to do it again. What will it take for her to realize that just because things aren't the way she wants them doesn't mean they need to be fixed
Willow really doesn't get it... I think it'll take something *really* bad - her screwing up even worse than we've ever seen - for her to realize she can't fix things.

Great job with the lyrics!
Thank you... I didn't actually write any of the lyrics in this chapter (they all came nice and ready-made) but in the next chap I'll be unveiling my first attempt at mangling lyrics to suit the story.

Oh, Willow...I think Willow losing Tara was one of the saddest things that happened on the show (and of course, since Joss likes us to really get to know the pain, he made us see that loss in the breakup way and then in the death way). Of course, the feeling sorry for Willow part is somewhat mitigated by my cringe of fear as she gets all set to "fix this"... :) Great chapter! Alia
Yeah, that was so sad on the show - and probably just as sad here, too. You're probably right to be worried about what Willow will do. :)

Thank you!

Gah... will Willow never learn!? *sigh*
Fabulous chapter, my dear!
Thanks for the review!

Uh oh. Willow wants to "fix" things. Apparently she didn't want to hear a word Tara said.

I was right. This is going to be an interesting story. I'm looking forward to the next update. :)
Thanks for the review! I'm glad I've got you intrigued so far.

She just didn't learn did she? You can't fix everything without stepping all over other people's free will. Willow was so insecure she feared anything she did not control. I never did understand why they all decided Buffy was in a hell dimension though. If her body had disappeared I could understand but as it was only Buffy's life force (soul) missing....why hell? I suspect the REAL issue was wanting Buffy back and that "belief" made it okay.

Kathleen
You're right about Willow's insecurity. I always thought that control was her addiction, not the magic itself. The magic was just a really good tool for "fixing" things.

Why they thought Buffy was in a hell dimension... here's a random thought - none of them are really religious, right? Maybe they thought of heaven as a religious concept (and therefore not real), whereas they do have some concrete experience with hell dimensions (Angel and Acathla - he went through a big swirly portal and ended up in a hell dimension, plus Buffy's experience in Anne and the Wishverse). Also, maybe they figured that Buffy would end up in Glory's dimension, since the whole thing was being done so Glory could go home.
