I can't believe this got away from me. I hadn't lost interest, just my mind. Spike must be scratching his head over it but what's got me, was why in the world the vamps needed the blood anyway. Why aren't they enjoying the hunt? Now to see what Giles is going to do for this unlikely scoobie.
Welcome back! ;-) As for my trio of blood bank raiders, in the episode The Dark Age there's another stake out/fight over a blood shipment and Angel makes the point that all the vampires in town know about it. Sooooo, I'm going with a desire to keep a low profile or stocking up extra food for my guys, but it is canonically common. Sorry to ramble on so, but I clicked into research mode there for a sec.

Yes! This is Spike in a nutshell IMHO.

This made me snort out loud! Sounds like the way Spike would phrase it.
Interesting plot turn. Vampires not dusting is not a good thing in general although in this particular case where Spike is concerned it was. Interesting trio of vamps too. Wonder if they'll be a force to reckon with (Spike with his own trio of baddies to deal with)....at any rate expect to see them again.

wow, this is mysterious...wonder what's causing the vampires do be so indestructable? and i'm wondering if those three vamps are going to show up again, since they were developed so very well... :) i like the characters you gave them, and that could be interesting...great chapter, love, i'm looking forward to more no matter where you take this :)
