Yuck (not the story, the stupid Buffy "love" for Angel).

Poor Spike...you'd think they would have run a check on the soul part by now but I don't think anyone believes him yet. I'd hope that Jenny could see the difference in the vampires at least...she was always pretty knowing and not bound up with all that Council crap.

I've got to say that although I really am enjoying your story, I totally hate this side of Buffy. It's the same side they showed on BtVS - the side that excuses behaviors away the same way that emotionally and physically battered women do. I abhor that type of dependence in anyone and it always sickened me on the show the way Buffy would excuse anything and everything Angel did - regardless of whether he was Angel or Angelus. I know she's supposed to be a teenager that's hopelessly in love an all here, but she's treading in those waters and it bothers me more than a bit. Other than that aspect, I really do like this story. It's very well-written.

I'm glad Willow isn't as naive as Buffy. Angel wears the face of her attacker, and she's never going to forget how he touched her. Buffy is being a bad friend.

Oh, can't wait to see what Angel says in lieu of his internal dilemna.

I wonder who will be the first to reveal that Buffy is the cause of Angel's loss of soul, and that, had she told the truth, things would have been easier.

This is also the time when I would love to see one of the Powers That Be's little lackies appear and do a three face slap, ala Mom on Futurama. Xander, Giles, Buffy...slap slap slap.

I only hope that we see a division of the Scoobies, with Willow and Jenny siding with Spike (due to hate of Angel) and Xander and Giles against Spike, with Buffy in the middle.

I thought they were going to do the soul-locator spell to prove Spike was telling the truth about his soul???
